Marty is a second generation hotelier with over 30 years’ experience. He has a natural instinct for all areas of hospitality stemming from his more than three decades serving the industry. Marty’s experience is deep and covers virtually all facets of complex, multi-unit, high volume and destination hotels and resorts. With experience across most large brands and franchises as well as independent and mixed-use, individual ownership properties, there is not a lot Marty has not had experience in personally operating.

Brian is a 30+ year career hotel and business executive. Brian has experience ranging from hotels, to travel e-commerce (senior exec. with Hotels.com), other lines of travel business and Senior Living.

Neal is a life-long General Contractor and Construction Professional. Neal holds various licenses and certificates that cover a wide range of general construction disciplines. For more than 25 years Neal owned his own construction company and had decades long clients such as Sprint, Verizon, Trammel Crow and other large publicly traded entities.

Michael, in addition to his activities at Lighthouse Hotels and Resorts, is also a Principal of Associated Ventures and REalta West Asset Management Group, an affiliate of an east coast-based asset management group, that has been involved in real estate assets across the nation. He began his career in real estate development during his college years, while attending the Arizona State University.
Michael, is credited with such notable transactions as the conversion of the Hollywood Congregational Church to the Screen Actors Guild headquarters, the renovation and subsequent sale of the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood, California to the Disney Company and the creation of long term leases of numerous parcels of land from the Santa Monica Unified School District facilitating the development of the Doubletree Hotel in Santa Monica and a new 147,000 square foot headquarters facility for the SMMUSD. He also was a principle in the acquisition of the Phoenix Inn Hotel Portfolio consisting of 14 hotels in Oregon, Washington, and Arizona.
In addition to her role at Lighthouse Hotels and Resorts, Melanie is a Principal of Associated Ventures, where she has been involved across the spectrum of real estate development and investments, including commercial, hotel, multifamily and single family, mixed-use properties and real estate related businesses situated in U.S. gateways, secondary and resort markets as well as select international markets.
At Associated Ventures, in her role as COO, she was team leader for the expansion strategy of the company’s consulting services into international markets, and originated relationships in the US, Europe, China, Central America and the Caribbean with investors, property owners and hotel brands. She was integral to enlarging the relationship base of the firm in the capital markets with institutions and investment banks, as well as private equity funds and other investment firms. Prior to her role at AV, Melanie’s real estate career began Jon Douglas Company, in marketing of commercial and multifamily. She transitioned into development via Site Realty Inc., where she focused on joint venture finance and development of commercial real estate in the United States. Over time, her real estate career evolved to include specialization in hotel assets as well as involvement in other real estate related businesses.
